Interview with Peter

November 14th 2019

Today Kingston Upon Thames opened its annual Christmas Market in preparation for the annual festivities at 10am this morning.

We spoke to Peter who runs a stall at the event located at the end near the Christmas Tree and asking him what he thinks about the event.

“I’m selling Christmas gifts. I’ve done this for about three years.” he said. “Every year is good. I wouldn’t come back if it wasn’t. People come and chat to me every year and already have.”

The event is now in full swing as people mill about checking out stalls, buying food and enjoying the music and oncoming light switch at 6pm.

What’s happening the next few weeks?

A day has gone by since the market opened, and we are guessing you can’t get enough! It is expected to be cold out this weekend, which gives you a great excuse to spend your Sunday walking through the various shops and stalls! With that said, events are happening all throughout the next month and a half:

Wed 11 Dec at 7.30pm: Rose Christmas Snowball at Rose Theatre
